Dear 1st Class,
I hope you are well!
Can you believe it's our last week of school!?
It has been a strange year I know, one you will probably never forget. However you have done so well! Well done for all your hard work, and well done to all your parents and helpers at home, make sure you all give yourselves a big pat on the back!
I had so much fun getting to know you guys this year! It was an eventful year. You have all progressed and grown so much, its wonderful to see! You have worked so hard, learning about narrative writing, recount writing, learning about Picasso and creating art masterpieces! Reading and listening to stories such as Fantastic Mr Fox (and those pesky farmers!) and The Magic finger! I hope you enjoyed this year as much as I did.
It's sad we didn't get to wrap up this year or finish this school year as usual - together and in school, but I hope you are as proud of yourselves as I am of you. The activities this week are about reflecting on this school year and our time together in class- even though it was cut short. They are only short activities, but there is room for lovely and creative pictures- It would be great to see some of your finished pieces too! Hopefully the weather is good this week so you can also get outside and play!
You have been a wonderful class to teach this year, and I hope you all have a brilliant summer! Remember to stay safe and listen to your parents and I cant wait to see you all in September as you start 2nd Class!
From your very proud teacher,
Ms Doyle!
and Sammy the Sloth!
