Good Morning 4th class,
I hope you are all keeping well!
The month of May is BIODIVERSITY month!
Keep an eye on the 'Outdoor activities' section of the school website under the 'Covid 19' tab for some easy things to do while you are out and about. You can send pictures or drawings of your findings to c19@parentsupport@newtownprimary.ie with the subject 'outdoor activities’.
I have been sent some fantastic projects on famous people! I really enjoyed reading your projects and I learned lots of new facts! Well done! If you would like your project to be displayed on the ‘our work’ section of the website you can email it to c19parentsupport@newtownprimary.ie
If you haven’t sent me your project or if you haven’t done a project don’t worry! I know you are doing lots of different things at home which is great too.
Here are some daily challenges to try this week:
Monday: Write a note to a family member telling them why you love them.
Tuesday: Call a grandparent and ask them about their childhood.Im sure they would love to hear from you!
Wednesday: Give someone a compliment.
Thursday: Read a story that you have wrote/read aloud to a family member.
Friday: Fit Friday! How long can you hold the plank position for?
It is very important to help out at home:
Here are some life skills you can practice this week at home:
Monday: Make your bed.
Tuesday: Tidy up the kitchen after dinner.
Wednesday: Tidy up your room/clothes/toys.
Thursday: Get someone to show you how to use the washing machine.
Friday: Help making dinner this evening.
I hope you are all keeping well!
