I hope you all had a lovely weekend Rang a Cúig. Can you believe we are in the last week of 5th class? What a very strange term it has been, but you have all been so amazing doing your best to adapt and get through it all. I haven't set too much work on Aladdin for you this week, just a couple of activities each day that look back on the year. I would love if you would send them back to me, I would love to hear your reflections from the year.
I have a message for you from your favourite pup. Can you guess where she is? Indie and I called up to the school on Friday and she was wondering where you all are. In case you can't understand what she's saying, I have included subtitles below.

Where are you all Rang a Cúig? I came up to the school to meet you all and to play with you but the classroom is empty, there's no one here. I was hoping you would come up to the pitch and throw the ball for me. Wheeeeeeerrrrrrrreeeee ARE you? Pleeeeeeeeease come and play with me? Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease?
I have promised her that we will try our best to get her up to the school to meet you all after the summer holidays.
I came across some mind-blowing facts over the weekend that I just have to share with you. I wonder if you will find them as fascinating as I did.
- Did you know that Tom and Jerry are actually BEST FRIENDS? But Tom has to pretend to hate Jerry in order to protect Jerry so that Tom's owner doesn't replace Tom with a cat that actually does want to kill Jerry.
- Did you know that the letter 'A' in not in the spellings of ANY numbers from 1-100?
- Did you know that there used to be a word for 'the day after tomorrow', it was 'Overmorrow'. So Wednesday is Overmorrow.
Have a great day Rang a Cúig, please share some of your thoughts and memories of 5th class with me this week.
Take Care & Stay Safe,
Ms Cheevers
