Good Morning Rang a Cúig,
I hope you all had a lovely weekend, I had an actual Rainbow Moment on Friday evening, I just had to share it with you.

Thanks again to those of you who sent in your artwork for the Together Apart Project. If you didn't get a chance to do it yet, you still have time. The deadline is this Wednesday so maybe you could still get yours sent in . I saw a few more came in from Leon, Mollie and Quillan. I got mine finished over the weekend, I really enjoyed taking the time to do some drawing and colouring. Here is a sneak preview of mine (the staff are doing handprints while the students are doing the postcard shapes). I wrote that I am Blessed because I am Blessed with a wonderful class and even though we have not been together, I feel Blessed that I have been able to keep in touch with you all through this Blog and Aladdin and that you have been getting in touch with me to let me know how you are doing. I have also felt Blessed because even though I miss seeing my family and friends at the moment, I am Blessed to know they are all safe and well and I can keep in touch with them on the phone. I can't wait to be able to start visiting my friends in Wicklow from next week and I am very excited that I might be able to visit my Dad in Galway in July. I bet a lot of you feel the same about seeing your friends and family, especially perhaps your grandparents.
It is school tour this week Rang a Cúig, it is such a shame that we didn't get to go on our school tour, but we did get our trip to the Mermaid Theatre just before we finished and I remember clearly that you had fun on the bus that day! This week we will be going on some virtual tours. All the teachers will be suggesting the same tours each day so that if you have brothers or sisters in the school you can all go together. We will give you links to the virtual tours on Aladdin and will suggest some activities you can do if you would like to. I will give you a suggestions of ideas each day and it is up to you which activities you chose to do, you do not have to do all of them. There are extra tour suggestions on the school website in the Covid-19 (Help My Kid Learn section). You are more than welcome to chose one of these tours instead of the one suggested on Aladdin.
Have a great week exploring all the different Virtual Tours Rang a Cúig,
Remember you put on your seatbelt on the bus and sing some of those school tour songs - "Everywhere we go...", "The Wheels on the Bus..." :-)
Take Care and Stay Safe,
Ms Cheevers
