Good Morning Rang a Cúig,
I hope you enjoyed your trip to Dublin Zoo yesterday. I hope you have your wetsuits and swimming togs on for your tour today because you could get wet! We are going a little further afield, all the way to Cobh in Co. Cork to visit the Titanic Experience. Did you know the Titanic stopped at Cobh (called Queenstown) on its way to New York on that fateful day in 1912? Did you also know that my birthday is on the anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic? I have included some links to some fun activities you could try today, how about building your own boat? Can you get it to float in your sink? Or designing your Remotely Operated Vehicle (they use these to explore the depths of the oceans and places where it is more difficult for humans to travel). You could connect with a grandparent or older relative and compare what like is life now compared to when they were young, I'm sure they would love talking to you about their childhood. There are quite a few ideas of activities you could do, and I'm sure you might be able to think of some more so enjoy the tour and keep your feet on dry land.
Speaking of dry land, I may have spoken too soon about Indie being so cooperative on her walks lately. It took us a VERY long time to walk quite a SHORT distance yesterday evening. I guess she felt she needed to remind me who is really in charge. I used up all the treats pretty quickly but eventually we got going. I was so happy we did get going because look what Indie discovered along the way.

Thanks to all of you who have sent in your piece for the Together Apart art project. If you haven't sent it in yet, maybe you could do it today and send it in by this afternoon.
I hope you are enjoying School Tour Week Rang a Cúig, it is such a shame we can't go for real but let's make the most of what we can do and check out some of these virtual tours that perhaps we could visit some time in the future.
Did any of you try the Screen Free Camping activity that is suggested on the Website? It looks like great fun with lots of fun ideas for games and activities you could do with your family.
Today is a "Run" day for me, so Indie gets to choose her walk later on. Let's see how that goes. Of course, she'll probably want to do a REALLY LONG walk, and I'll be so tired from my run I won't be able to keep up. She really is some character!
Have a lovely day Rang a Cúig,
Let me know how you are enjoying this week's activities,
Take Care and Stay Safe,
Ms Cheevers
