Dear boys and girls!!! :-)
We have reached the last week of school together and we want to wish you the very best for the Summer! We hope you and your family have an enjoyable time and that you all stay safe and well.
This school year has been so unusual for everyone! Some of you may have been delighted to be home and others of you may have been really missing school; some of you may have done the home learning activities we sent out and others may have preferred to do different activities with your families. Either way, we say a big huge... WELL DONE!!!
We're sorry you missed some of those nice end-of-year activities like the school tour and sport's day, we would have been delighted to have been able to do these with you but don't worry, there will be plenty more to look forward to in the years to come!
The last thing we want to say is a big 'THANK YOU' to parents and guardians for doing such a good job!! Many of you have had a lot on your plate, so 'WELL DONE' and thank you for keeping in touch with us during this school closure. Your communication and support during this time has been really appreciated!
Ms. Leahy has recorded a little end-of-year message for her class below, we hope they like it. There is also a very simple 'thank you' song below which the children can learn and sing for whoever has been looking after them at home.
A special 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' goes out to Liam for next Sunday! We hope you have a fab day... and we heard you learned to ride your bike without stabilizers last week, that's super news!! :)
Sending you loads of love and we can't wait to see you all after the summer!!
Tabhair aire agus slán go fóill,
Ms. Leahy & Ms. McGillycuddy
