Hello Junior Infants
Well done on another fantastic week. I am so proud of all the work you are doing.
Over the last two weeks we have learned about An Aimsir, 2D shapes, number formation, counting, phonics and weather. I have seen super progress with handwriting, number formation and colouring.
Sometimes I like to look back at some of your work from September and it is AMAZING to see the progress each of you has made.
The boys and girls got very creative making St Brigid’s crosses, we had crosses made of pencils, colours, paper and rushes. Some of the children drew their own crosses while others coloured in pictures of St. Brigid’s crosses. I was very impressed with your creativity.
The boys and girls are getting very creative with our weekly maths trail, I have attached some of the pictures below of the things they have spotted.
We had a pyjama day on Friday the 5th February and it was so much fun. It was lovely being cosy for our zoom call and it was nice to see all your colourful pyjamas. Well done to everyone for taking part.
Everybody is working so hard and I am so proud of my class. The boys and girls sit patiently and wait on zoom with there lámha suas to tell their news, they arrive prepared to the zoom call everyday with their whiteboard and marker ready to go. It’s a very difficult time for everyone but it is just FANTASTIC to see how well the boys and girls have adapted to online learning.
Thanks to the Mammy’s and Daddy’s for all their hard work behind the scene.
