Dear Ali, Emily, Sean, Mark, Abigail & Conor,
I hope you are all keeping well? I miss working with you in class every day. Sharon, Elaine and Erica miss working with you too. They all say “Hello”. We miss listening to your lovely news each day and seeing your lovely smiley faces. I hope Ali had a lovely birthday. “Happy Birthday Ali !” We will have to bake a birthday cake when we get back to school. Maybe a delicious chocolate cake, every ones favourite!
I miss our baking classes with all our friends on a Friday. I miss our relaxing yoga classes with Maura and our noisy drumming classes with Neil. I’m sure Maura and Neil miss not seeing you all too. I really miss our fun O.T every morning, seeing what scores everyone gets throwing the hoops and trying to climb through the tunnel without losing a shoe.
I know it is really hard to stay at home all the time. I find it hard too. So do my boys! We are finding lots of new and fun things to do at home. Yesterday we made an obstacle course in our back garden. My boys love listening to music when they need a little break or time to relax, they sometimes listen to it while they are colouring or playing with their Lego.
The school is now closed and I don’t know when it will open again. I also know it is strange for you to do school work at home but like I say to you all in school “ I am happy once you are trying your best!” If you are finding it hard let your Mammy and Daddy know they can contact me and I will try my best to help you. I also know you are doing lots of jobs to help out at home and are trying your best to be good to everyone. Thank you for doing this! I am very proud of you for all this great work you make me very happy.
I hope that when we come back we will have more fun in our classroom and maybe have another “bake off” for one of our baking classes. I will really look forward to this and I’m sure you all will too. We will also have fun seeing all our friends from all the other classes in the yard and playing with them.
Missing you all, Stay safe and keep well.
Remember to stay at home!
Kind Regards,
S. Russell.
