Hit the Target
Kicking, striking a ball or throwing
Place a bottle, bucket, tin or another object on a table/bench. Take 5 steps back from the target. Try to hit the target with a by kicking a football, throwing a tennis ball or striking a ball using a hurl or racket. Variations Step closer or further back. Can you think of other ways to hit the target? Make the target bigger or smaller. How many times can you hit the target? |

Cha Cha Slide Plank
Find a safe clear space inside or outside.
Listen to the song “Cha Cha Slide” on Youtube or Spotify etc. In the plank position, try to follow the directions in the song! For junior classes 20-30secs would be excellent. Senior classes might try and do it for a bit longer! Variations Take a break during it and continue on with the challenge Follow the directions in the song doing the actions in a standing position! |

Toilet Roll Flip
This is a challenge based on the bottle flipping challenge that was popular recently!
The challenge is to flip a roll of (clean) toilet roll and land it perfectly on the floor. Can you flip another on perfectly on top?? How many toilet rolls can you make land on top of each other? |

TUESDAY
The Wheelie Bin Challenge
Kicking, throwing or striking
The aim of this challenge is to land a ball into a wheelie bin. Place a wheelie bin or bucket in a safe location outside. Take 6 steps back. Children can try to kick a ball into the bin, throw a ball or strike a ball using a hurl/racket. Challenge your parents to have a go! Send a picture or video to your teacher of you trying it! Variations Step closer or further back from the bin |

The Shoe Challenge
Find a safe clear area inside your home.
Lie flat on your back on the floor and lift one leg up with the sole of your foot facing the ceiling. Place a shoe on the sole of the foot that is in the air. Now try to roll over fully while keeping the shoe balanced on your foot! |

Bust a Move
Dancing is a great activity for putting a smile on our faces! It’s also a great form of exercise.
All you have to do here is choose your favourite song and dance your socks off to it!

WEDNESDAY
Bucket Basketball
Throwing a ball/tennis ball
You will need a bucket or a box for this exercise to throw a tennis ball into. Place a bucket or a box in your garden or a safe clear space outside. Place down 3 markers/cones that you will shoot from. The challenge is to throw a ball into the bucket from the 3 different markers. You can ask a parent to time you to see how long it takes to score from the 3 markers! Variations Move the markers/cones closer or further from the bucket. |

Keepie Uppies!
Kicking a ball or striking a ball on a racket or hurl
The aim of this activity is to see how long you can solo a football or bounce a ball on a racket without it dropping! Try and do some tricks with the ball while doing it. Send a picture or video to your teacher trying the challenge! Variations Children can choose to balance a tennis ball or a book on a body part while walking around. |

Obstacle Course
Create an obstacle course in your garden or a safe area.
Find items at home that are safe to use. Try to use objects that you might jump over, crawl under, balance, walk along, hop between. Have a start and end point. Time yourself doing the course and try and beat your previous score. Challenge a family member. |
THURSDAY
Against the Wall
Throw & Catching
Stand 3 steps away from the wall. Throw a ball against the wall and catch. |
Variations Vary by using one hand, two hands. To make more difficult, children can clap before catching the ball, do a 360◦ turn and catch. Play with a partner by throwing against the wall with your partner catching and then do the opposite. Try not to drop the ball! *See how many you can do in 30 seconds. Try and beat your previous score. |
Marathon Challenge - Running

Find an outdoor space. Maybe a garden or grassy area that is safe.
Children are asked to maintain a slow jog for as long as they can and parents can time them!
(Laps of your garden or run the perimeter of your house)
Repeat throughout the day after breaks. How many minutes can you run for?

Toilet Roll Balance
In a standing position, children place a toilet roll on their head.
Can you sit down on a chair while keeping the toilet roll balanced on your head? Adapt by asking children to sit on the floor or lie on the floor while keeping toilet roll balanced. *If you master the challenge with 1 roll can you do it with 2 or 3 rolls?! |

Speed Jump Challenge
Jumping
Place a skipping rope, jumper or cone on the ground. The aim of this activity is to try and jump over the rope as many times as you can in 30 seconds. Send your score into your teacher! Ask a parent to try it with you and see can you beat their score! Variations Hop on one foot. |

Classic Sports Day !
Try some of the classic sports day races at home with a brother/sister or with a parent!
Ask a parent to time you and see if you can beat your time. Examples
