Dear Second Class,
How is it your second last week in second class?? I cannot believe it, in some ways it feels like forever since we were together in March and in other ways it feels like this year has been and gone in a flash!
There were a lot of things we had planned to do but couldn’t and yes, it is disappointing now but next year you’ll have lots to look forward to.
This time of year, we would have been visiting the Senior school every few days, having a sneaky peek around, seeing all the faces of teacher, staff, brothers and sisters, cousins etc popping into classes and saying hello.
I know some of you might be nervous, some of you might be excited about the move, or you might just feel a little bit of both worry and excitement, all of which are ok to feel! You’re moving on from being the older class in the Junior School, setting the example and looking after the younger boys and girls (which you did brilliantly and should be very proud of) to the Senior School, different playground, building and class. But, change is good! And if you are worried or nervous, chat to your family or teacher or somebody, because we can help! 😊 and it always helps to say how you’re feeling, because we are not mind- readers unfortunately ☹ There will be many faces you already know in the Senior school anyways, onwards and upwards!
So myself and Ms Monahan decided we’d give you a ‘virtual tour’ of the school building..
