I hope you're all doing well and enjoying some of the Sports Week challenges and activities. I shared Darren's exciting news with you yesterday but I've also heard some more news from some of you in the past few days so I thought I would share it with you too. It's nice to connect with each other and to hear what you have been up to.
Lauren was telling me she got to meet up with her Brownie group the other day. They went for a socially distanced walk up Callow Hill. She also got to meet her friends in the park early in the week. Lauren also made her own kite last week and sent me a great video of her flying it outside.
Sam has been camping in a nearby field with his brothers and cousins. His brother Louis and two of their cousins had birthdays during the week, it must have been great to be able to celebrate together. They also had a tennis tournament and then cooked their food on a campfire. It sounds like they had great fun together.
Yosr has two AWESOME projects on the go at the moment. Apparently they are "The best, most awesome projects any 11 year old could possibly work on!" The first is to develop a real game using proper coding on Roblox and the other is to do some more illustrations for the character 'Luna' from her Write a Book story Wish Upon a Star.
Aaron is more than half way through his Couch to 5K challenge, well done Aaron, it's not an easy challenge. He is also becoming quite the chef, cooking pizzas and pasta dishes from scratch. I look forward to visiting his restaurant in the future. I wonder if he'll do discounts for his favourite teacher ;-) (And I'm not talking about Mr Keddy!)
Adam has been keeping up with his AMAZING art skills, check out the pictures he drew of Indie. Aren't they terrific?
Finally, Mollie sent me some pictures of Pixi, the newest member of her pet family. Pixi is a mini lop eared demon who apparently needs to get her nails clipped as she has been scratching Mollie's arms to bits. Check out these photos of Mollie and Pixi.
We have two more days of Sports Week left, maybe you'll try the Toilet Roll Challenge or the Marathon Challenge today. Did any of you make your own obstacle course yesterday?
Have a great day Rang a Cúig,
Take Care and Stay Safe,
