Good morning Rang a Cúig,
I hope you're all doing well this morning. Did you enjoy the beautiful weather we had yesterday, wasn't it glorious? Guess what, I might have lost the walking war yesterday, but I won the postman war this morning! Yes, that's right, we made two attempts to go for a walk yesterday and I failed both times. We barely made it to the corner, which is like walking the length of our yard. I wouldn't mind but when we came back she still expected to get her carrots! Not a chance!
But, remember I was telling you about how she goes barking mad when the postman comes to the door? Well, this morning he had to ring the bell as he was delivering a parcel. Of course Indie goes into a FRENZY (barking mad, chasing to the door and jumping up and down) when the doorbell rings but this time I was ready (and I had a head start) :-) Indie was pottering around the garden while I was turning on my laptop at the kitchen table, the doorbell rang, she chased in from the garden barking like mad, while I leapt out of my chair and dashed for the kitchen door. You can imagine the scene. I made it there a fraction of a second before her and managed to close her in the kitchen while I went to the door. She was not impressed but Yes, Rang a Cúig, I beat the pup in the race to the door and I did a little victory dance. I didn't manage to get a photo of my victory dance so this will have to do instead.

Indie is now sulking in her sunspot by the front door lying in wait for the next poor unfortunate soul who ventures by our door. She's not taking any chances this time, she is ready and waiting. She reckons the next victory will be hers. We will have to wait and see...
Check back in next week to see how the stakeout went.
How are you getting on with your "My Day" pages? I have had a couple back already but I would love to hear from more of you. I will attach the page to the end of this blog in case you missed it. You can print out this one, fill it in and send me a photo of it or some people have figured out how to type onto the document online and other people have designed their own "My Day" poster using the same headings. I got a lovely one from Leon yesterday that he designed himself. Leon learned how to wash his dog Brody, I wonder if Leon got as wet as Brody did? I bet they had fun though. He also got his new trampoline which he was really excited about.
If you get a chance, fill in the "My Day" page for any day this week or over the weekend. I will share them all on Tuesday's Blog so we can see what we have all been up to. Indie and I will also do one and will share them with you.
It's a Bank Holiday Weekend Rang a Cúig and it looks like the weather will continue to be good, so have a lovely few days, here is a puzzle sheet for you to try over the weekend with your family.
