Good Morning Rang a Cúig

I hope you're all well this morning and that you all had an opportunity yesterday to start the Active Home Challenge.  I know some of you took your dog for a walk, went for a cycle, bounced on your trampolines or bouncy castles or played swing ball.  It's great to hear you're all keeping active.  What activities are you going to do today?  I did some yoga yesterday and took Indie for a walk in the afternoon.  Here she is telling me to hurry up and stop taking pictures!  Doesn't her shadow look strange?

Thank you to those of you who have sent me some of the work you've been doing.  Don't worry if you haven't sent me anything, I know you're all working hard on lots of different things, so keep that up.  Just remember, if you do send me work, check back on it after a day or two as I will give feedback on it.  And if you have any questions about anything, write them in a Google Doc and share it with me or ask a parent to email me.

In the meantime, how about a couple of challenges for today?

​Since we're doing a project all about Italy, can you....?
Find out how to say ‘hello’, goodbye’, ‘please’, ‘thank you’, ‘my name is…’, ‘how are you?’ and ‘I am fine’ in Italian.

Could you...?  Design a poster for Active Home Week?  Share it with me or send it to [email protected] and we can display it on the website.

What about a Maths Challenge...

Good luck with today's tasks and challenges Rang a Cúig.  And remember to KEEP ACTIVE, 60 minutes, 4 activities.  Be creative with those activities.  One of my favourites when I was in Primary School was Hopscotch.  What is your favourite game?  Could you teach it to someone in your family and get them to play with you?
