In January, we spent a lot of time looking at the weather. We had ‘The Weather Station’ as our play theme and we had lots of fun playing as meteorologists predicting and recording the weather. We even did an experiment to test out which materials were waterproof by covering two teddy bears with different materials and then pouring water over them to see who stayed dry (Brownie Bear wearing the raincoat stayed dry!).
Our artist of the month this month was Banksy, so we took inspiration from him for our weather theme and ‘spray painted’ a rainy day and then drew ourselves in under some umbrellas.
We also did lots of creating with Lego this month.
