Hi Everybody,
I hope you have all had a great week. I had a very active week this week going for walks, cycles and runs. We bought a badminton set and were able to play on the green near my house too which was great fun....but very competitive!
Have you ever seen people playing badminton? it's a bit like tennis but you play with a longer, smaller racket and instead of a ball you hit a shuttlecock and you can't let it bounce. Here is a video of the longest rally in the history of badminton https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFGLXYcKD2M - a rally is when you hit it back and forth for a long time without anybody winning or loosing the point
I'm not quite this good yet....but maybe by September!

I was delighted to hear from a number of your this week so here's the round up!
Rhea and her mum were in touch to say she had a great non-communion day. She got some of her favourite 'Boston Doughnuts', did some beautiful artwork and went exploring in a nearby woods - ticking off some bioiversity month challenges without even realising!

Ethan and his Mom were in touch too. They had a non-Communion day party on Saturday. Ethan got to pick what they had to eat and then had a cake. They had a movie day that night, they watched 'Sonic' - sounds like a great day! Ethan has been doing lots of locely artwork at home - well done Ethan!
Elliot and his Mom told me some great news - Elliot got his cast off! I'm sure Elliot is delighted he got it off before the summer holidays - just watch out for those trees!
Elliot had lots of phone calls from family to cheer him up on his non-Communion day as well as a water fight with his brother and a lovely picnic.
He has been doign some great biodiversity activities and investigations and as usual - lots of lovely drawings. Here are drawings of his cat Fanta - who I heard has been doing some hunting! And of the boy in the poem you read last monday - this one really made me laugh! I gave my husband a haircut and he looked a little bit like this afterwards :-) Thanks Elliot!

Cian's mom sent me on a message from him. On his non-Communion evening they set up a projector in the garden. A projector projects images or videos onto a flat surface, like a wall. Last Saturday they set it up in the garden and had some treats - who needs the cinema eh?!
Cian has been doing lots of reading and is reading the second book of the second series of six series. It's a bit of a tongue twister! That means when he finishes this series of books he has 4 more series to get through! I love to hear that I have a class full of book worms :-)
