Good morning,
I hope you are all getting out to enjoy the weather these days. It was great to be able to go a little further walking now that the 2km limit is extended. I used to go on this walk with my dad when I was a little girl and he always told me that it was Rapunzel's castle you could see (picture 3 in slideshow).
Yesterday I saw a foal who had been born just a day or two ago and also some lambs. It's amazing how some animals can stand up straight away when they are born, while humans take much longer! I wonder how the new big brother and sister in our class are getting on during this time! I am sure they are helping out loads!
Remember when you are going walking to keep social distancing when you meet other people and wash your hands first thing when you get home.
I received some great jokes by email last week.
Maryanne sent this one with the help of her dad:
BOB: What does KFC stand for.
SARAH: I don’t know?
BOB: Kids Feeding Center
And Josh sent this with the help of his mom:
A policeman caught a nasty little boy with a bb gun in one hand and a lizard in the other. "Now Listen here," the policeman said, "Whatever you do to that poor, defenseless creature I shall personally do to you" "In that case," said the boy. "I'll kiss it and let it go"
If you have any news or work to share or have done any biodiversity challenges let me know before Friday so I can include you in our classmate catch up.
Have a lovely day
Ms Monahan :-)
