Dear Junior Infants,
We hope you are keeping well and staying safe during our school
closure. We know it is a strange and confusing time. We also know it
is very hard for you to stay at home all the time and to be away
from your friends. We are finding it hard not seeing our friends too,
so we know how you feel but it is to help keep us safe.
We just wanted to check in with you and let you know that we are
thinking of you often and hoping that you are ‘being the best you
can be’ at home. We miss seeing your smiling faces every morning!
Keep practising your phonics and do lots of jobs around the house to
be helpful and kind. Get as much fresh air and exercise as you can
(at home) and don’t spend too much time on your tablets or phones!
Remember all the exercises and dances we did in class, try doing
some of them at home.
We will be sending some school work for you to do at home after
Easter. If you are finding it hard, let someone know and they can
contact us. We will try our very best to help you. We hope to see
some of your lovely work on the ‘Our Work’ page of our school
website.
We don’t know yet when we will be back to school but we can’t wait
to see you all again. We’re sending you all very fond and warm wishes!
In the meantime, let’s all do our bit to stay safe and healthy – Wash
your hands, stay at home and remember the rules of social
distancing.
Keep smiling and be kind! :)
Best Wishes,
Ms. Leahy and Ms. Ní Laocha
