Another week of distance learning done, and I'm still so impressed with all the hard work and engagement from you all. Seeing you on our daily class meetings is wonderful too. I love seeing all your smiles each day, and hearing about your news and playing games.
This week we looked at number formation, 2D shapes, An Aimsir, Counting as gaeilge, phonics and weather. You are all doing so well at keeping up your handwriting practice at home, it's lovely to see your progress. I can also see your progress with colouring, more and more of you are staying inside the lines, using lots of colours and not leaving any white spaces! Its wonderful to see!

| This week I included some more online interactive games to accompany our work, and it was great to hear and see you all enjoying them. Also lovely to see that you are all still enjoying the maths trails on a Friday, getting outside for maths is a nice treat! We also had International Lego Day on Thursday, and I gave you all a challenge of building something amazing and sending me a picture of your finished creation! and well....I was AMAZED with them all! This week on Monday we are celebrating the 1st day of February, the 1st day of spring and St Brigid's Day! So I look forward to seeing what we do to celebrate this. Keep up the amazing effort and work Junior Infants, I'm so PROUD of you all! Stay safe, Ms Doyle. |
