It has been so wonderful to be all back together in class these past few weeks! We have been busy learning and exploring and getting back into our routines!
With the (odd bit of) good weather we have, we tried to make the most of it and get outside as much as we could! It was a great time to go on our Spring walk, where we looked out for any signs of spring!
Mother's Day and St Patrick's Day
For St Patrick's Day we used paint and paper plates to create a rainbow decoration with a pot of gold at the end! We also went on a St Patrick's Day walk with our handmade Irish Flags to spread some cheer through the town!
We finally began handwriting in the last week or so of school! We have all been so excited to finally start writing the letters we have been learning the past few months. We started with the letters e and t! We have all been practicing hard and I know we will have the rest in no time!
Seachtain Na Gaeilge
We took part in Seachtain Na Gaeilge for the first two weeks back in March! We tried our best to use as much Irish as we could through out the day! We became very good at saying 'Dia Dhuit' in the hallway to people we passed! We also began to use 'Go raibh maith agat' instead of thank you during the day! Small changes that all helped us with incorporating Gaeilge into our days!
