Hi Junior Infants!
A big well done to you all for completing another week of distant learning! I know its different, but you are all taking it in your stride and doing really well!
This week we worked on our number formation, our handwriting practice and counting. We explored showing numbers using our fingers, showing 2 and then showing it a different way. We explored Aimsir in Irish and SESE, looking at the different types of clothes we might wear in the rain or in the sun. We played different games and activities online to help us with our learning of our phonics and sounds and counting.

On Friday we went on our own math trails, finding leaves and flowers and things shaped like a circle outside.
We have been enjoying our daily meetings where we practice counting, some of our Irish phrases, sounds and shapes. We also do show and tell and share our news with our class. We've seen Harrison's lego sets, Daniel's dog, Cayden's dragon Toothless, Aoibhinn's horse and unicorn, Ariana's dinosaur, Oscar's skeleton's, Hannah's LOL dolls and car and Freddie's electric guitar! On Friday we did a mini art lesson on our meeting. You all followed my instructions to create a drawing of a Giraffe! They turned out brilliant.
You have all worked so hard, I am very proud of you all!
I can't wait to see what we do this week!
Ms Doyle
