Hi Junior Infants!
Our 4th week of learning from home completed! Well done to you all!
This week was the first week of February, and so we celebrated St Brigid's day on Monday! It was lovely to see so many of you making your St Brigid's crosses at home. We also drew a picture for spring, including completing a directed drawing of a daffodil!

We also looked at penguins this week, learning about their habitats, and what kind of conditions they can survive in as well as their abilities. We explored the cameras at Dublin zoo and San Diego zoo. As a way of practicing our phonics we used our letters to label different items in our house that began with that letter. For example Daniel has labelled his dog with a 'd', Harrison labelled his door with a 'd' and Freddie labelled his grapes with 'g'.
On Fridays we do a small maths tail and this week we had to find pattern at home, and things that can roll, and squares in everyday life at home. We also learned a story as gaeilge about 'An Seilde'.
Keep up all the amazing work Junior Infants!
