Dia Dhaoibh Senior Infants 😃
I cannot believe we are in the month of February already! Well done everyone for all your hard work so far this year and to all your Moms, Dads, Grannies, Grandads, and anybody else that is helping you at home. You all deserve a big bualadh bos! Maith sibh 😊
Last Monday was St Brigid’s Day and we made St Brigid crosses using paper or newspaper. Some of you drew spring pictures too. They look fantastic! We listened to a story about St Brigid and about her cloak on Zoom. Also, we learned about 3D shapes and you went on a 3D shape hunt. We made 3D shapes using playdough, toothpicks, marshmallows, Lego and paper. We are learning about Éadaí in Gaeilge this month too. Each of you are doing excellent work on your phonics, handwriting and your reading. We listened to the story ‘The Pig in the Pond’ and we found words that rhymed with pig! We created our own obstacle courses for PE and we did different body movements for each letter in our name. Well done👏
I’m looking forward to seeing you all on Zoom this week.
Slán go fóill,
Ms Keddy 😊
