The end of a special era has arrived today with the retirement of Mrs. Carmel Dempsey. We want to thank and acknowledge Mrs. Dempsey for her 25 years of commitment and dedication to Newtownmountkennedy Primary School. She has constantly provided guidance, support and nurturing to all members of our school community.
She has been an inspirational leader, colleague and friend during those years and she has encouraged our school community to grow into the wonderful, vibrant and happy place of learning that it is today. Her wealth of knowledge and expertise will be sorely missed by us all but the legacy she has left behind is a testament to all the hard work, commitment and dedication she has given to the school. There are not enough words to describe all the fantastic work Mrs. Dempsey has done for the school and we wish her every happiness and joy in her Retirement.
